Project Description:
This Habitat accessible home meets the needs of the Clay family of two. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bath that fit nicely with the modest neighborhood aesthetic.  The home will be certified for the Focus on Energy New Home Program and Wisconsin Green Built Homes.  This means the home will cost 20 to 35% less to operate than other homes of similar size thanks to extra insulation and air-tight construction, along with highly efficient plumbing and appliances.  Materials conservation was largely achieved through Habitat’s unique pre-fabrication process.  The home also features environmentally friendly materials such as ANSO-Nylon Carpet, low-VOC paints, and FSC certified cabinetry.

Green Features
